What is the meaning of “the right food”? The  right food refers to the type of foods that contain the key nutrients  that benefit the skin the most.</p>
<p>In a well-balanced diet, the body  is able to get enough nutrients for good skin health and for the body  to function well as a whole. However, in today’s society a well-balanced  diet does not exist in too many households. Often diets lack the  vitamins, minerals, and other essential components for healthy skin and  healthy bodies.</p>
<p>The proteins are needed for repair of body  tissues. The skin and hair need enough protein and the deficiency causes  dull and dry skin and scalp. Vegetarians specially need to plan their  diets carefully to include protein rich foods such as soya beans,  sprouts, cheese, milk, grains, peas &amp; beans. Freshly made cheese  from toned milk is an excellent source of protein for the vegetarians.</p>
<p>To  get the maximum effect, eat products made from cooked tomatoes,  especially tomato paste, as the process of cooking makes it easier for  your body to absorb the lycopene. You need around 10mg a day. It will  take around 2–3 weeks before your body starts feeling the benefits.  Other foods rich in Vitamin C include citrus fruits, like oranges,  strawberries, broccoli and cabbage. Vitamin C is also essential for your  body to produce collagen, the material that keeps your skin firm and  wrinkle-free.</p>
<p>Vitamin A is very important for the health of your  skin and eyes. The richest sources of this vitamin are cod-liver oil,  liver, carrots, spinach, milk and egg-yolk. If the diet is lacking in  this vitamin, the skin becomes excessively dry and develops pimples.  Vision at night becomes defective.But remember, neither should you  overdose yourself with Vitamin A, because this can cause dryness and  roughness of the skin, falling of the hair and soreness of lips.Cracking  and soreness of lips also develop in vitamin B deficiencies.</p>
<p>Green  tea is rich in antioxidants that reduce inflammation and protect cell  membranes. It has been proven to reduce the damage of sunburns and  overexposure to ultraviolet light, which in turn reduces the risk of  skin cancer. Green tea is also high in polyphenols &#8212; compounds that  eliminate cancer-causing free radicals.</p>
<p>Two per cent of men (and  eight per cent of women) are anaemic. Even more have low-iron stores,  which can leave you feeling tired and weak. But another little-known  symptom of low-iron stores, caused by not enough in your diet, is itchy  skin.</p>
<p>This combination will improve the texture of your skin.  Used regularly it will help reduce signs of aging such as liver spots  and wrinkles. Carrot is high in beta-carotene and anti-oxidant vitamins,  while avocado is a rich source of vitamin E. The thicker the  consistency of the mask, the more intense the action on the skin.</p>
<p>Carrots  are a good food for skin because they are a high source of  beta-carotene. The body coverts beta-carotene to vitamin A for use  within the body. Carrots are also a good source of vitamin C. Vitamin C  is a powerful antioxidant that mops up free radicals, such as those  produced by overexposure to the sun, that lead to the premature aging of  skin. It also aids in skin collagen formation. Collagen helps skin look  young and plump.</p>

Diets are temporary solution to a long-term problem. Many people who get on extreme diets often end up gaining more weight than they lost. You may lose weight in the short term, but numerous studies have shown that at least 95% of people put the weight back on. </p>
<p>             You have to learn to eat properly once and for all. Take back the natural enjoyment of food! </p>
<p>             Others think that exercise is the only way to health, so they exercise frantically for a few months before giving up. They try to exercise frantically, either taking up sports they don’t care for or joining an exercise class that they’ll skip. These people are somewhat better off than the dieters, as exercise is a good start. But what they don’t realize is that exercise should be enjoyable-it shouldn’t be painful or uncomfortable. <p>             One must remember that physical activity is the key factor that keeps people in shape and good health. <p>           Last, but not least thing: so-called ‘diet pills’ do not guarantee any results. Do not put up your hopes up high. If there were such a thing as a pill that could help you safely remove excess pounds, they would be prescribed by doctors across the globe. </p>

Well, that&#8217;s okay, but rather than dismiss it, I ask you to consider looking into the ways in which the deception works and I&#8217;ll bet you&#8217;ll come to the same conclusions as me.<br/><br/>Let&#8217;s look at some general underlying principles. Take the case of the latter two I mentioned above. The medical / pharmaceutical establishment and the food industry.<br/><br/>The way the deception works<br/><br/>As I have said before, any solutions of a nutritional kind is carefully kept under wraps by the pharmaceutical companies and the government, who heavily sponsor the media and pay them off not to publicise. Over the years, dedicated and brilliant people of a humanitarian nature who have come up with nutritional methods for cures of illnesses have been deliberately ignored, quashed or even ridiculed. Even when they had achievesd genuinely successful methodologies.<br/><br/>In other words, the pharmaceutical companies and their influence over the medical establishment, together with the government has become the order of the day. This, indeed, quite simply is a case of putting profits before the welfare concern of the people, which of course, is not acceptable. It is indeed an example of how we are not living in a democracy.<br/><br/>And that&#8217;s not all&#8230;<br/><br/>-This corporate soulless greed machine method of control and suppression is also demonstrated in the food industry. A a matter of fact, both pharmaceuticals and food products undergo the same pattern when it comes to making decisions over what should go on to the market. It goes like this.<br/><br/>Approval bodies such as the FDA (The Food and Drug administration), the United States set up, comprise a group of individuals who decide what food and drugs are safe to go on the market. Many of these individuals have ties with the very pharmaceutical or food companies they are judging! So any real decision-making made from these people will be most likely in favour of the pharmaceutical or food companies.<br/><br/>Evidence has been shown time and time again that these individuals have been biased. It has also been shown that some of those who were not tied to companies during the time of the decision-making were later on. For example, some individuals who had been on the FDA later became appointed on the board of directors of the pharmaceutical companies.<br/><br/>-This has introduced a level of corruption that has allowed many harmful foods and drugs to go on the market.<br/><br/>Well-documented cases where there have been health-damaging side effects from harmful food and drugs have been given little or no publicity.<br/><br/>Junk food and potentially harmful foods have found their way on to the shelves of supermarkets, care of slick advertising and marketing. There is much trickery and deception involved in this.<br/><br/>Good food can give much information on the subject of junk food.<br/><br/>The main thing for now is to get smart and realise there is a game going on played by the people mentioned in the point who obviously don&#8217;t really care about your health. <p>Also have you heard of all the great properties packed in the Acai berry that has now been classed as a SuperFood? And the many ways it can benefit you by adding it to your diet.</p>
<p>The little known Acai berry is jam packed with goodness and contains essential fatty acids, amino acids and the highest concentration of anti-oxidants than any other food.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Weight Loss &#8211; It&#8217;s Not What You Eat It&#8217;s How You Eat It!</p>
<p>Well ladies if you are like me, weight loss is one of the things that is always at the forefront of my mind.</p>
<p>Well at least the bikini season is over now &#8211; phew &#8211; but alas with good old Christmas just round the corner and all its rich food and trimmings, alarm bells are ringing that weight loss will be the New Years resolution &#8211; again.</p>
<p>I always eat a varied diet of good nutritional food, as you may know our family motto is &#8216;good food good health&#8217; and Christmas is no exception, but this is the time of year that little lapses occur.</p>
<p>Well scientists have found that our modern way of eating is adding to our waistlines and that it is not what we eat but the way we eat it that is making us fatter.</p>
<p>I can remember by Grandma saying to me so many times &#8211; chew your food ten times before you swallow if you want to stay slim and slender &#8211; if only I had listened!</p>
<p>Apparently scientists have proven wolfing down your dinner can in fact treble the risk of being overweight, this factor is probably very significant in the current obesity epidemic here in the UK and America alike.</p>
<p>It was found that fast eating habits pile on the pounds at an accelerated rate, even when taken into account the type &#8211; either healthy good food or &#8216;junk foods&#8217; &#8211; and amount of calories that were consumed, making weight loss difficult.</p>
<p>Well, I know for a fact my bad habits started at school, when the quicker you ate your dinner the more play time you had, but ok I am not that bad any more, but the pressure of having enough time to fit everything in of an evening after work means I am probably still eating faster than I should.</p>
<p>Our brains signals are impeded with the constant impact of fast eating until feeling full, overriding the brains normal signals which usually encourage self control.</p>
<p>Most of us are either trying to maintain or lose weight and are hopping from one weight loss programme to another with little success.</p>
<p>The stomach takes about 20 minutes for it to register being full, so by eating slower and slightly smaller portions can really help with weight loss.</p>
<p>Experts are saying chewing each mouthful up to 20 times really does work as the longer you chew your food for, the fuller you feel.</p>
<p>So just by eating slower you may not always need the dessert you normally have straight away, and it is generally much better to eat smaller meals more often anyway. You will still get the great feeling of having enjoyed a full meal but your stomach will be used to eating less, and will give you that full signal much earlier which aids weight loss.</p>
<p>Complete proper chewing of your food breaks down food molecules, making them more easily exposed to saliva that starts the process of digestion.</p>
<p>Other factors that also contribute to weight gain when eating is the couch potato effect, watching TV at the same time as eating stops the brain getting the signals about the food.</p>
<p>Talking and eating at the same time is definitely not only bad manners, but also makes digestion more difficult because of the air swallowed, again not helping with your weight loss</p>
<p>People who eat until full and eat quickly generally have a higher BMI &#8211; body mass index, this is the scoring system that measures levels of obesity, also they have a higher total energy intake than people who do not eat quickly and until full.</p>
<p>Eating slowly allows feedback from the brain saying &#8216;this is enough&#8217; which helps us to stop eating before we are &#8216;literally full&#8217;. This is the same for men and women alike.</p>
<p>So all we need to do is to re-programme our brains and stomachs and then we should be able to attain some weight loss whilst being able to actually taste and savour the food we eat, instead of just shovelling food down our necks for the sake of it and still not getting the feel good factor that should come with all our meals.</p>
<p>What more I like about this is the fact that we do not need to go out and buy any new special cooking equipment or join any weight loss group, although using this in conjunction with a diet programme can only add benefits.</p>
<p>I admit meals that I eat out are often smaller portions and no better good food than ones I cook at home and yet I feel more satisfied after. This must be down to the more relaxed we are at eating with not having to rush as nobody pays a fortune for a meal to wolf it down and bolt out the door, we take our time and the feel good factor really does kick in, so that is another health benefit as well as the weight loss</p>
<p>This really is common sense that everybody seems to have lost since probably the 1960 / 70s. Family meals are the way to go with chatting in between eating, making it a pleasurable time.</p>
<p>As always a diet of good food for good health is best, as with a varied diet of good food enables your body to receive all the vitamins, minerals and nutrients needed for your good health of body and mind alike.</p>
<p>So the good advantages of a trained stomach not needing so much food to feel full not only make us lighter with the weight loss but should also make the weekly shop lighter on the bank balance.</p>
<p>So it&#8217;s thumbs up to slow eating of good food for good health.<br />
